This policy covers the Signal Lights app for iPhone and iPad, and nothing else. Signal Lights is made by an independent developer.
Nothing. To be specific, the app does not collect, transmit, sell or share:
The app asks for no permissions. It does not use the camera, the microphone, Bluetooth, or your local network.
Your settings — the signal you last chose, any timings you have adjusted, the display brightness and the colour mode — are saved on your device only, in the app's own private storage. They are never uploaded and never leave the device except as part of your own encrypted iCloud or computer backup, which is under your control rather than the developer's.
Deleting the app removes all of it.
There is none. Signal Lights contains no advertising, no third-party software development kits, and no analytics tools. It does not track you across other apps or websites, and therefore never asks for permission to do so.
Signal Lights is suitable for children and is often used for pretend play with toy cars and for teaching road safety. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. Nothing in it is directed at obtaining personal information from anyone of any age.
The app may occasionally ask you to rate it. That prompt is provided by Apple, is shown by iOS rather than by the app, and any rating or review you leave is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
Apple also gives the developer anonymous, aggregated statistics about App Store downloads — how many, and in which countries. That comes from Apple, not from anything inside the app, and it identifies nobody.
Regulations such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and the Australian Privacy Principles give you rights over personal information a company holds about you — to see it, correct it, or have it deleted. There is nothing here to which those rights can attach, because no personal information is collected or held. Any settings you have made are on your own device and are yours to change or erase at any time.
If a future version of Signal Lights ever handles information differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
